Changing Our Focus

I truly believe that God wants to do a new thing in your life. So, how's it going to get done? First of all, we are going to have to change our atmosphere, our mood and we going to need to exercise our faith in who God is.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. (Isaiah 43:18 KJV)

This year we need to not dwell on the past. The Lord says forget them and let them go. This is a new year. God is going to bring us Great opportunities, but, it is up to us to get a hold of these new opportunities.

This year, let's CHANGE OUR FOCUS and QUIT LOOKING BEHING...START LOOKING AHEAD.

If we continually look behind, we can not see where we are going. If we are ever going to move on to new things in Christ, then we must learn that we cannot depend upon past victories to sustain us. Forget the former things.

The question isn't what has God done in our lives. The question must be:

-What is God doing in your life right now?
-What is it that you want Him to do in your life right now?

In order to move on to new things in Christ, you must know that you can not allow your past failures to possess you. DO NOT DWELL ON THE PAST!

Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (Isaiah 55:7 NIV)

Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, Lord,
and grant us your salvation. I will listen to what God the Lord says (Psalm 85:6-8a NIV)

This year we need to listen as God speaks and follow where He leads.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19 KJV)

NOW IS THE TIME

Often we sit around waiting on time….

• TIME TO GO
• TIME TO GET BACK
• TIME TO GET READY
• TIME TO EAT
• TIME TO START
• TIME TO FINISH

Time is important.

I received this little note from our district secretary this week that said:

“The hour is come for the called of God to rise and posses the higher ground: to walk at a level of power and authority never before known by the church.”

It is not a TFW thing: it’s a body of Christ thing.

The hour is now for the church to rise and “do the work ". The hour is now to be infused with the fresh oil of the Holy Ghost and cast off stagnation. The hour is now to be renewed in the word and exercise great faith. No more can faith rest on eloquent sermons, wise words, or the traditions of men. The hour is now to give witness the Bible way by the demonstration of the Spirit and power cast off every weight and sin and rise to the call.

NOW IS THE TIME

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

The Spirit of the Lord told John, “Come up here and let me show you things to come.” Hear me, I believe that I’m hearing the Lord speak today and here is what He is saying, “Let the church rise to a higher level.” Let the church rise to a higher level. Let the church hear God as He is calling us to a higher place.

We’re living in a time where things are only going to get worse for this world and there is soon coming a time when those around the church are going to need some place to look to that is higher than where they are.

Exod 40:37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

Num 9:19,22 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.
22: Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

All of this was meant to teach the children of Israel how to get from prophecy to promise. From the dream to the reality. From faith to seeing it in person.

God was teaching his people that there is a time to stay and a time to move and, He was teaching them to never get so comfortable that He can’t move them.

Hear me, the children of Israel would travel when the cloud moved. When the cloud stopped, they stopped and there they worshipped God until the cloud moved again.

But, what happens sometimes that that we grow comfortable while we’re camped. We get real familiar with our surroundings.

They were camped in a wilderness. There was no running water, no plush beds to sleep in and no grocery stores to shop in. But, even though something or some places may be dry, desolate and difficult, once we become familiar with them we also become comfortable with them. Once we’re comfortable, we tend to resist anything that threatens our normal way we do things.

Have you ever moved? Moving isn’t easy. It’s hard, messed up, out of order during a move. Nothing is in order. You can’t find anything you want or need.

When you go to move, you notice all the things that you’ve accumulated over the year. Junk mostly but YOUR junk. Things you really don’t have any use for but, for whatever reason, we’ve kept. So moving is a time of sifting and shifting.

It’s time to lighten your load. It’s time to separate the useful from the useless. It’s time to get rid of those things you’re not going to need after your move.

NOW’S THE TIME

As we, the church, begin to move with God; as we move from level to level, there are some things we’re going to need to leave behind.

I don’t know what your life is like but, in mine I need to leave behind:
• DOUBT
• FEAR
• WORRY
• DISCOURAGEMENT
• DISAPPOINTMENTS

I’m ready to leave behind some enemies that I’ve been fighting. I’m ready to leave behind some traditions that have no power in them. Now’s the time that we be endued with power from on high.

NOW’S THE TIME

I know all too well this kind of preaching isn’t always accepted because:

• WE LIKE OUR SURROUNDINGS
• WE LIKE THE COMFORT OF OUR PEWS
• WE LIKE THE WAY WE’VE ALWAYS DONE IT THAT’S WHY WERE STILL DOING IT THIS WAY

But God is showing us that things are changing and it’s time for the church to rise up in power and might of the Lord.

It’s time we quit being fans of God and become true, 100% committed followers in every aspect in the work of the Lord. It’s time for the church as we know it to leave the comfort zones and move with the spirit of the Lord as He takes us into the unknown.
I believe God is sending in people who we don’t know. He is going to ask us to do things we don’t know how to do. He is going to ask us to do things we don’t know how to do. He is going to place us into positions unknown to us.

NOW’S THE TIME TO RISE TO THE CALL

Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Isa 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

NOW’S THE TIME

I believe that God is asking:

• IS ANYBODY READY TO MOVE ON
• IS ANYBODY READY TO LET GO & LET GOD
• IS ANYBODY READY TO THE UNKNOWN ZONE
• IS ANYBODY READY TO OBEY EVEN WHEN IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE
• IS ANYBODY READY TO OBEY & GO
NOW’S THE TIME

It is said that the African impala can jump 10’ high and cover the distance of 30’ in a single stride. Yet, this same animal can be housed behind a three foot wall in the zoo for its entire life because it refuses to jump.

NOW’S THE TIME

I BELIEVE GOD IS CALLING…I BELIEVE GOD IS ASKING:

“Will you get out of your comfort zone and follow me? Will you listen and obey me?”

NOW’S THE TIME

The church must be ready to move, ready to go, ready to hear and obey the voice of God.

Because now’s the time. There is so much more than what we’ve experience if we will move from where we’ve grown comfortable.

God is asking, “Will you move?”

God is asking because He wants you to rise up and go with Him but, if you refuse to move, God isn’t going to say, “Oh well…I guess I’ll just stay with you.”

God is moving and we must move with Him.

I Can...I Will...Make A Difference

Just over five years ago the Lord birthed into existence Trinity Family Worship. It wasn't because Ft. Gibson needed another church but it was because God was looking to open up another opportunity for souls to be saved.

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Luke 10:2

Everyday souls are dying and going to a place which wasn't even created for them a place called Hell. During this last four plus years we here at Trinity Family Worship have been greatly blessed with over a hundred people saved many healings as we as other miracles.

This year our vision the Lord has put before us is this: I Can... I Will... Make a Difference.

What a difference people can make when they try. I was saved because of a loving mother who always prayed for me "she" made a difference. Today, many people will tell you “Oh well. Who cares?”, and that attitude is the reason why many are dying and going to a devils hell simply because people have quit caring. Listen, it's not that hard to care each morning we can care by saying a prayer for the lost to be saved. We can care by getting up and attending church on a faithful basis. We can care by being involved in our churches ministries. We can care by giving of our finances for the work of the Lord.

Here's the deal…"We Can", but will we? Let me encourage you this year rise up be all that God has called you to be we all have lost friends and family members. We can do more for the Lord than we have done in the past if we will just try, Please try. I know the Lord is soon coming and he is coming for those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior, How about you? Is He the Lord of all your life? If not please don't wait ask Him into your heart then obey his commands come and follow Him. Places Everyone

And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed one)."
Ephesians 2:6, AMP

Today, we need to take our place! Our position in Christ is a place of victory and authority. Have you thought about that lately? Let's look at it.

You are in a more powerful position than you realize! Here's why: Jesus is Lord, Messiah and the Anointed One and He has raised us up and seated us with Himself in heavenly places. He has called us to be joint-heirs with Jesus and He has given us authority through His Name. We must never forget our position. God wants us to operate in life from a position of victory. In other words, we are not trying to get the victory. We are not praying for victory. Through Christ—we have the victory! He has positioned us as victors.

From our position of victory in Christ, we need to enforce Satan's defeat. You can almost hear the Holy Spirit encouraging the Body of Christ saying, "Places everyone. Take your place. Places, please. Get in place."

Listen to what the Bible says about our victorious position:

"Jesus said, 'I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.'" (Luke 10:19-20)

"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Cor. 15:57)

"...For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." (1 John 5:4-5)

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." (2 Cor. 2:14)

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom. 8:37-39)

Today, take your place! You have authority. You are victorious. You overcome the world. You triumph in Christ. You are more than a conqueror through Him.

Be Radical!

Everywhere we look you see it and hear it times are changing. Many of these changes are not for the good just changes. The church has also changed, but mostly for the bad. Jesus told us to go out into this world and reach people. Well that’s just to radical I mean that’s what the preacher is paid to do “right” Wrong this is all of our jobs.

"But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do His work and speak out for Him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference He made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted. Friends, this world is not your home, so don't make yourselves cozy in it."

1 Peter 2:9-11, Message

It’s time that the church “We the body of Christ” Became radical. Have you met the radicals? They are full of crazy ideas! Beware of the radicals! Everywhere they go they are preaching radical ideas like...

Ø Jesus loves you.

Ø Love your neighbor.

Ø The Bible is God's Word.

Ø Be generous.

Ø Love is patient and kind. Love covers.

Ø Forgive anyone for anything.

Ø Male and female He created them.

Ø The two shall become one.

Ø Flee immorality.

Ø Sex within the context of marriage is God's idea.

Ø An unborn baby is a person.

Ø Pray always—even at school.

Ø In God we trust.

Ø God bless America.

Ø Merry Christmas.

Ø Honesty is the best policy.

Ø Don't covet your neighbor's wife or stuff.

Ø Don't cheat or steal.

Ø There is a real heaven and a real hell.

Ø God's last name isn't "Damn."

Ø Worship God.

Ø Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Listen it’s ok if you want to be a radical. Jesus will understand.

You Get What You Pay For!

It's True

You get what you pay for !

"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it?"

Luke 14:28, NIV

Everything has a price. Sometimes, it's smart to evaluate the costs. Like...opportunity costs and financial costs. There's the high price of discipline, sacrifice and sleep. The cost of relationships, health and wellness.

It all depends on what you want...

Some people want to ignore God and be successful, rich and famous. There is a price attached to that desire. They may have to pay the price of working 80 hour weeks, not attending their kids' school functions, being away from home, traveling on business, being stressed out, feeling empty, troubling their own marriage and opening themselves up to temptations they are not prepared to resist. In the end…they'll get everything they paid for.

Some people want to worship themselves, their kids, material things, athletics and the like. There's a price attached. They may have to pay the price of forking over thousands of dollars for the desired toys, tickets, equipment, registrations, camps and tournaments. They may have to pay the price of dissatisfaction, family fragmentation, foregone family vacations and other things due to a busy "keeping up with the Joneses," competitive schedule. Mom, dad and the kids may not be able to attend church or cultivate deep friendships due to their priorities. One day…they will get a return on everything they paid for.

Some people want to party, get high, be popular and run with the "in" crowd. There's a price. They may have to pay the price of doing things they don't really want to do. They may have to compromise on their personal values. They may discover their kids have become just like them. They may have to pretend to be someone they are not. In time, they'll receive the things they've paid for.

Some people want to develop a strong Christian family with tight bonds. There is a price. They may have to pay the price of spending quality time together and developing patterns of good communication. They may have to establish habits and make sacrifices for the good of the family. Parents have to figure out how to navigate all kinds of things and they must pay a price to be good role models and set the example. Kids have a price to pay in being obedient and flowing with the family plan. As the years go by, the family will get exactly what they paid for.

Some people want to know God, be full of faith and impact eternity. There's a big price. They may have to pay the price of being alone with the Lord and His Word for an extended season (or a few decades) in order to know Him and be equipped so they have something to give to others. They may have to give up doing what they want to do on weekends, during school breaks, or during holidays. They may have to serve and lead even when they feel unqualified. They may have to believe when they don't feel like it, fight the fight of faith when they want to quit and do uncomfortable, selfless things—especially when it's not convenient. In due season, God will see to it that they reap exactly what they've sown.

There are a thousand more examples of the simple law of economics at work in our lives every day. It's really true—there is a price for everything. Today, as you look at your future, may you be encouraged as you answer these important questions: What do you want? What price are you willing to pay?

A Word On Faith

God Bless you Folks, this year has already started out great souls have already been saved & added unto the church. Knowing what we have in front of us we have to get in with all we have & run this race knowing that what we start we also must finish strong. But through our faith in God we will prevail in all that we do.

"Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]."

Hebrews 11:1, AMP

Is faith a leap? Not really.

Faith is the assurance. Faith is the proof. Faith perceives.

A leap implies the unknown. A leap lends itself to hit or miss. Faith is not a leap. Faith is a fact. The God-kind of faith…

...takes God at His Word, because it has spent time with God to hear His voice, because it knows that God is not a man that He should lie, so if He said it, He must have meant it.

...is fully persuaded that God is able to perform the very thing He promised because it knows that heaven and earth will pass away before God's Word will pass away.

...trusts all of its weight on the living and active Word which is able to divide between soul and spirit and effectually work within us, knowing that God watches over His Word to perform it.

Faith is not a leap. Anything other than faith IS a leap…anything other than faith is a roll of the dice; it's a 50/50, a fatalistic experience or a "gee-willy I hope so" existence.

The Bible is clear: faith—the God-kind of faith—is a known commodity, not a leap. "And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him." (1 John 5:14-15, AMP)

Praise the Lord for He is Good ! It's 2010 many of us   never thought we would see this year. BUt the Lord still tarries, and were to continue on until He arrives. I don't know about you but I believe He is still coming in  "GREAT" power.

Speaking of this power brings me here, did you know that we also as His body   has been given this same power? In fact Jesus said the things he done we shall do even greater things through His name. It's at this name that demons still tremble and have to flee. But they will only flee once we realize who we are in Christ.

This first part of the year i'm going to be focusing on who we are in Christ beginning with this "We Are Trinity Family Worship". In 1919 a group of men and women gathered to pray at 6646 Halsted street in Chicago Il. as they prayed the spirit of the Lord moved upon them they were endued with power form on high. God gave the vision to   realize who they were in the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are today children of their faith, offspring of their dedication, prodigies of their revivals, products of their prayers, desendents of their anointing and we are The Family of God.

Here at Trinity Family Worship  we are firmly connected to an eternal cause, founded upon the absolutes of God's word, committed to reaching this city for Jesus Christ, and we are determined   to be relevant in this hour we live. We Are Trinity Family Worship !

It's Cold Outside!

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It may be cold out side, In fact it may be a lot of things out there, but one thing is for sure no matter where you are & that is this God is still good ! It's been a great year here @ T.F.W.. This year we have witnessed many great things happening with souls being saved and added to the kingdom of God. We have witnessed healings cancers gone, knees healed, back problems taken care of and many others. This new year coming 2010 will mark our fourth year. While many said we wouldn't make it six months, I believe God had a bigger plan. Nearly four years later we have reached many milestones. This month our new church van has been paid off, our building is paid down over $14,000 just this year with less than ten to go. We have finished much of our remodeling and were ready to start a new phase "enlarging our borders" The nursery. These past four months our attendance has stayed over 100 on Sunday mornings, Thanks be unto God. This new year were expecting even more as we continue on the journey that is set before us. Let me encourage you to get in this year be faithful in your service, your prayers, and in your support, help us reach the prize that is set before us. With God all things are still possible. Don't let things keep you from God , don't let things keep you from serving the Lord, don't let things keep you from all that the Lord has for you. Together lets strive to be all that God has called us to be. This year lets all run the race fight the fight of faith and lets finish the course together. I'm encouraged in the Lord, I see great things coming our way, I'm expecting and I'm going to receive, because there is nothing that shall separate us from the love of God. This year we are going to find out just who we are & why were here you won't want to miss a service. But know this We Are Trinity

Living In Victory

How many times do we get defeated and just feel like quitting? Once, twice, even three times a week or maybe more. You see the bible tells us we have an adversary “the devil” who is always out there doing his best to defeat us. But when we come to know Jesus Christ He has told us I have came to give you power over all this power of the enemy. Get this Christ is with us !
"And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen." Romans 16:20, NKJV

You might need to post this on your status “Satan is defeated!”

Today, be encouraged to enforce Satan's defeat in your life. Jesus completely whipped the enemy and made an open show of him by triumphing over him on the cross. When Jesus went to the cross, the devil thought he'd won a mighty victory; he thought he had killed the Lord of Glory—the Redeemer and only hope for the salvation of mankind. Hell was rejoicing…for a few days.

Can you imagine Satan's surprise when hell began to tremble and the power of the Holy Ghost quickened Jesus' mortal body and He was raised from the dead?! That's when God got the last laugh, "In this way, God disarmed the evil rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross of Christ." (Colossians 2:15, NLT)

One day there will be a Grand Finale and Satan and his evil hosts will be judged and cast into the lake of fire for eternity! Until that time, we have been given authority to enforce Satan's defeat, to rule and reign in this life. Jesus has given us the armor of God, the Name of Jesus, the Word of God, the blood of Jesus and the mighty power of the Holy Ghost!

We don't have to fight the devil—Jesus already did and won. We have to fight the fight of faith by appropriating God's Word, enforcing Satan's defeat and laying hold of all that belongs to us in Christ.

You believe that then Be Blessed in the Power of Jesus

Isa 59:19

Good morning, I want to share with you for just a minute on this. Did you know that the word of God is still relevant-real-powerful and never changing? I've noticed how many problems we seem to be facing anymore, there not just once in a while, but there everyday. So how do we cope?

Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

This word of God says God will handle "these things", That's what the apostle Paul was referring to when he asked "what shall we say to theses things" His answer was and is this If God be for us Who can be against us ? I want you to know today that God is for you. God still Loves you. God still hears and answers prayers. God is Holy, God is able, God is relative! So your in need today your facing something today know this God will be there with you if you will ask Him. I pray today that you find out just how real our God is. I pray you will allow Him access into your life today.

PCG Oklahoma District Convention Update

Wow, Just returned from P.C.G. Oklahoma District Convention it was an awesome time of refreshing, Dr. Ming ministered in two services sharing with us on our covenant love with God. We also learned new ways in which we the P.C.G. are going to attack the enemy on our own homefront through missions! Look out devil here we come! Taking back all that's ours Family,friends, and everything else we've lost. Had a greaat time @ the youth service acting young eating hot dogs and bowling...my Wii stick didn't work very well there! I'm excited to be home ready to have church this Sunday, God has shared with me some things from the construction zones we go through in our lives you'll need to be there.

P.S. Want to say goodbye to an old dear friend Bro Burnsworth who retired this convention. He has served our district for over 29 years as secretary and treasurer. Thanks for a job well done! Love you guys and will be excited to see what God has in store for you next.

BREAKING NEWS

"But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us more than conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57, AMP

Just in case you need a reminder today, God—through Christ—gives us the victory and makes us more than conquerors! I don't know how He does it—but He has a way of moving mountains, raising valleys, making crooked ways straight, making a way where there is no way, overcoming the world, opening or closing doors, giving favor, always leading us in triumph and giving us the victory!

We here @ Trinity Family Worship have been expeiencing a Powerful Move of God. This last week we saw five saved, five filled with the Holy Ghost, numerous healings and hundreds of lives touched by the power of God.

Seemingly everyday we walk through our lives in defeat and turmoil, But friend can I tell you that Jesus has came to give you Victory !

Our Faith Gives Us The Victory—So Stay in Faith: "For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?" (1 John 5:4-5, AMP)

A Message On the Revival At TFW from Pastor Todd

"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven…a time to dance…" Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4, NKJ

Every now and then – it's time to bust a move! That what we've been doing this week, Pastor Mark has preached to us, There is a time to dance. We're not talking about provocative dancing, hitting up the bar or suggestive fleshly moves – we're talking about a dance of joy! A dance to celebrate...to leap, skip or jump. Literally, the word "dance" in Ecclesiastes means: to stamp – to spring about wildly or for joy.

Some days, some moments – there's just something refreshing and rejuvenating about getting a groove going. Bust a move and sing a song to drive out discouragement, depression or the blues! Tap your toes and shuffle just enough to break out of apathy, passivity or exhaustion! Dance for joy to celebrate the goodness of God.

The Bible has a lot to say about dancing...and rejoicing, celebrating, singing, shouting and making a melody.

We can bust a move...sing, shout and make a melody, when…

The Lost Are Found: "'For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate. Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing…." (Luke 15:24-25, NIV)

We are Healed: "Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God." (Acts 3:7-8, NIV)

We Are Filled and Drunk In the Spirit: "Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you. Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts." (Ephesians 5:18-19, NLT)

Our Tears Are Turned to Joy: "You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy…." (Psalm 30:11, NIV)

We Want to Praise God: "Then David danced before the LORD with all his might…." (2 Samuel 6:14, NKJV)

It's Time to Break Free: "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the LORD…." (Psalm 98:4-5, NIV

Praise the Lord for what he is doing in the lives of those here @ Trinity Family Worship, through this our city is going to be touched by the power of God. Thats what we've been praying for .

Hindrances To Revival

We don't want it: People are more concerned about a disruption in their lives and schedules than revival. "Christianity is turning into cleaner carnality."

We are culturally bound: Americans don't know how to give themselves to anything fully, unable to concentrate on the moment at hand. "People aren't ready to be consumed."

We're under constant temptation to be worldly: There is a level of worldliness that is accepted in Christianity today. People need to decide whether to be "pulled by the world or the Holy Spirit."

We fear emotionalism: Everything in the Bible is emotional! People need to be able to express it when they've been touched by God.

We have a weak value system: We love God, we love ice cream, we love shoes, and we love the Sooners. Are these "loves" on the same level? Narrow these multiple loves to what is really meaningful, God deserves our Love.

We don't know what we want: It's easier to know what you don't want, including being inconvenienced, unpopular, unappreciated and risky. "Ask a miserable person what he wants; he won't know".

Blessing means something for nothing: People place a greater value on things when they've had to sacrifice. You have to do "whatever it takes to get a move of God".

TO OBTAIN TRUE REVIVAL BEGIN WITH YOURSELF

Whenever people complain to me about apathy and lukewarmness in their church, I point out that they are the Church, and revival begins with them.

Allow God to do in your life what you believe needs to happen for revival to come to your church.

Is there hidden sin? Repent.

Is there a lack of prayer? Pray.

Is there a lack of discipline in spiritual things such as Bible study and meditation? Get into the Word. Ask God to restore your life and ministry to a true Pentecostal standard. If you desire a fresh anointing in your life, it will not be long before you will begin to experience a fresh anointing upon you and your church.

As you prepare your life for revival, focus on God and divine possibilities. Faith comes by the Word of God. Study the promises of God. He is the source of revival. If you meet His conditions, He has promised to answer and show you great and mighty things. Build your faith through contact and fellowship with people of faith.
